Mall Plovdiv is situated in a big residential area, close to the park and the river of Maritza canoeing sports facilities. It's the first modern shopping centre in the town of Plovdiv to come as an alternative of the famous main shopping street in the city centre.
The project offers two floors of retail and a cinema complex with a food court, restaurants and book stores on the third floor. The fully air-conditioned bright shopping space provides comfortable recreation area to the citizens. There is a wide range of inline and anchor shops along the L-shaped mall. A central atrium helps for the easy orientation of the visitors. The natural skylight, well-illuminated shop fronts, bridges and escalators create a warm and cosy interior space.
The Cinema City Multiplex consists of 11 cinema halls. The food court opens to a large roof terrace where people can enjoy the view of the city with the seven hills. There is an underground parking for 500 cars.
The design of Mall Plovdiv has been developed with the co-operation of MYS Architects. In 2009 the project was nominated for a Building of the Year.
