The house is situated at the foot of Vitosha Mountain, in the outskirts of Sofia. It is designed to provide comfortable dwellings in a low-rise building.
There are one and two bedroom apartments on each of the first three floors. They have different sizes and various plans in order to provide larger customers choice. The space organization allows for maximum sunlight and energy efficiency. The large openings and terraces give every apartment the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful view of the mountain or the panorama of the city.
A larger 3-bedroom flat is situated on the top floor under the pitched roof. The cropped corners of the roof reveal the surrounding scene to the inhabitants. Extensive greenery on the rooftop terraces adds value to the quality of the building. An underground parking provides secure place for cars and bicycles.
The building is designed as a single decomposed volume, which unity is retained by treating the facades and the roof with the same concrete finish. The roofscape with the greenery is interesting when it is overlooked by other houses up the hill.
